Scenario:
A second year student in Toronto would like to have an app to share funny images and memes to her college friends.
The problem:
Most of competitor apps on App Store and CH Play don't allow people to "mark" the image they like, only "Share" and "Save to phone" option. This cause phone's memory gotta full, so people usually use and keep the app in about 1 month, then uninstall it.
The challenge:
How to keep people enjoy funny images, keep using the app but don't harm their phone's memory.
Target audience:
_ Teenager (18 -> 25), single, out-going.
_ All genders.
Goal:
_ Funny, happy, unforgettable experience.
Research:
_ I notice people pretty enjoy using the "bookmark" icon underneath each post, because the post/image will be saved directly to the collection (which being kept on cloud).
What a designer need to know:
_ What type of memes and photos people usually share and like?
_ How many photo they want to share or post a day?
_ Do they want to group photos for each friend?
Solution:
_ Less button.
_ Simple display.
